This is the number of repair jobs raised in a year divided by the number of homes the council owns — roughly, how many repairs the average home needed. It is a signal of the condition of the housing stock. A high number can mean homes are ageing or poorly maintained (things keep breaking); a very low number can mean well-kept homes, but could also mean tenants have given up reporting problems.

Responsive repairs completed per home per year. A proxy for stock condition and the reactive-vs-planned maintenance balance — older or worse stock generates more responsive repairs. The denominator is the Decent Homes assessed base, an approximation of total stock.
