Tp04 well maintained satisfaction

% of respondents satisfied · extracted · landlord-year

This is the share of surveyed tenants who said they are satisfied that their home is well maintained. It reflects tenants' own judgement of the condition of their home — damp, decoration, worn-out kitchens and bathrooms — beyond individual repair jobs. A high percentage means tenants feel their homes are kept in good shape; a low one means many feel they live in homes that are being allowed to run down.

missingnessStock-transfer (LSVT) councils are absent — they own no stock, so absence is structural, not missing data. Only large landlords (1,000+ social homes) report; Files 05/06 list excluded landlords. A landlord's perception figures sit in File 01 (`_LCRA`) *or* File 03 (`_COMB`, for landlords reporting LCRA+LCHO combined) — merge both files for full coverage, else the value appears missing.
score_noteOverlaps heavily with TP01/TP02; little incremental information.

Well-maintained home satisfaction (TP04)

Percentage of tenants satisfied that their home is well maintained (TP04). A tenant-perception counterpart to the Decent Homes failure rate (RP01) for reading stock condition. Survey-based: carries a per-landlord margin of error (Estimated_margin_LCRA), and collection-mode effects are large — control for Predominant_method_LCRA and Census_or_Sample_LCRA when comparing landlords. Interpretation per the data dictionary: "Satisfied home is well maintained".
