It reflects tenants' own judgement of the condition of their home — damp, decoration, worn-out kitchens and bathrooms — beyond individual repair jobs. A high percentage means tenants feel their homes are kept in good shape; a low one means many feel they live in homes that are being allowed to run down.

Survey-based: carries a per-landlord margin of error (Estimated_margin_LCRA), and collection-mode effects are large — control for Predominant_method_LCRA and Census_or_Sample_LCRA when comparing landlords. Interpretation per the data dictionary: "Satisfied home is well maintained".
